Environmental policies

Fully aware of the high difficulty and ambition of our project, our goal is precisely to make our manufacturing processes for steel products as sustainable as possible, to contribute at least in part to the development of green procedures in this sector as well.
To achieve our important goal, we have defined a management system for the protection of air, water and soil, based on the principles of the ISO 14001: 2015 standard designed to scrupulously monitor our activities on the basis of internally defined assessment indices.

Environmental Certification (ISO 14001: 2015)

The safety of our employees in the workplace is the core value of our company, essential for the development of our company, for the trust of our customers and for contributing to the dissemination of social best practices. Our staff is called to collaborate actively and consciously for compliance with our procedures and for the achievement of objectives, as an integral part and protagonist of well-being and health in the company. With this in mind, we operate according to the principles of ISO 45001: 2018 and we are constantly engaged in training and updating activities to eliminate any incorrect and unsafe behaviour.

Safety System Certification (ISO 45001: 2018)

Our activities of collection, storage, treatment and transport of ferrous and non-ferrous materials are certified by ISO 9001: 2015 in terms of control and quality. Our management system establishes internal procedures and standards that strive for excellence in every stage of processing.

Quality System Certification (ISO 9001: 2015)

From collection to transport of scrap, from sorting to storage, each activity is rigorously traced and codified, in compliance with the waste legislation (Legislative Decree 152/06 and subsequent amendments) and with EU Reg. 333/2011 and 715/2013 which regulate the EOWs (formerly MPS). We are also equipped with all the legal authorizations for the transport, the management of scrap, the recovery of special non-hazardous waste and for the intermediation of scrap/waste for direct deliveries to the customer.
